I've been living in this country for over seven years now. My English has deteriorated so much... It's a miracle I can still speak in complete sentences.
I lived in Japan for 5 years, then went back to the US and talked to people like they were idiots. Now I am back in Japan and I can feel it slipping again... saying things like 'supermarket' or 'so-so' among other things never said in the US...
Here is an idea. Why not put the day of the week in the title of each strip, along with the date ?

日=Sunday

水=Wednesday
木=Thursday
金=Friday
土=Saturday
It made me laugh when you just put 'meat' as something you ate... Something that would not normally be said anywhere else but Japan =D

ReplyDeleteWhen people say, "How are you?" I seriously say, "I'm fine thank you, and you?" before I can stop myself. It's become a reflex.
